Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-02-16

We strive to make Valutra as accessible as possible and continuously improve accessibility.

Scope

This statement applies to the public Valutra web application (areas for logged-in and non-logged-in users) in German and English under the domain valutra.co.

Standards and Legal Basis

Valutra follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. In Germany, accessibility is legally assessed primarily against EN 301 549 and the requirements of BITV 2.0.

Conformance Status

Based on our internal evaluation, Valutra conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA within the scope described above and additionally fulfills the requirements introduced in WCAG 2.2 at Level AA.

Testing Approach

Accessibility is evaluated through automated testing (Playwright with axe-core and lint rules) as well as manual testing, including full keyboard navigation, screen reader testing with VoiceOver (macOS), zoom and reflow testing, and contrast verification. Tests are performed regularly as part of release cycles.

Supported Environment

Valutra supports current evergreen browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop and mobile devices. VoiceOver on macOS is used as a baseline screen reader. Other common screen readers should work but cannot be fully guaranteed.

Known Limitations

At present, no accessibility barriers are known. If you encounter any issues, please let us know so we can address them promptly.

Feedback and Contact

If you encounter accessibility barriers or would like to provide feedback, please contact us at support@valutra.co. We aim to respond in a timely manner.

Enforcement Procedure (Germany)

If you do not receive a satisfactory response, you may contact the German conciliation body under the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG). Further information is available at https://www.schlichtungsstelle-bgg.de.
